Former World Olympic Kickboxing Super Heavyweight winner Mike Bernardo went from living legend to legend yesterday the 14th February 2012 in his home in Cape Town. He was 42 years old and will be missed by all who knew him in the Martial Arts community.

The Melkbos Care Centre (http://ubunye.org/content/view/2/2/) is a registered non-profit care facility caring for underprivileged children residing in Melkbosstrand. These children live in an environment rife with physical, emotional and substance abuse. There is little positive mentorship or encouragement for a better life. Olof donated all of the kettlebells used by The Professional Training Studio in The Melkbos Care Centre children’s exercise program.
